Background:
 JOSEPH SUNDAY OJO OBTAINED HIS B.TECH. (PHYSICS ELECTRONICS, M.TECH AND PHD(COMMUNICATION PHYSICS) FROM THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AKURE, ONDO STATE, NIGERIA IN 1998, 2004 AND 2009 RESPECTIVELY. HE GOT A DISTINGUISHING AWARD AS THE BEST STUDENT IN HIS DEPARTMENT DURING HIS UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE. HE ALSO GOT A YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD OF URSI IN 2008 AND 2010. HE JOINED THE UNIVERSITY AS AN ASSISTANT LECTURER AND NOW A FULL LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS, FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AKURE, NIGERIA. HE WAS A RESEARCH SCIENTIST AT THE RADIO AND ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCES DIVISION, NATIONAL PHYSICAL LABORATORY, NEW DELHI, INDIA UNDER THE TWAS/CSIR POSTGRADUATE FELLOWSHIP BETWEEN 2007 AND 2009. HIS PHD THESIS WAS PATENTED DURING THE YEAR 2012, WITH THE RECOGNITION BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE NIGERIAN HIGHER INSTITUTIONS (NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY COMMISSION) AS THE BEST PHD THESIS IN PHYSICAL SCIENCE IN 2009. HE IS A REGULAR ASSOCIATE OF ABDUL SALAM INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR THEORETICAL PHYSICS, TRIESTE, ITALY. HIS AREA OF RESEARCH ARE: RADIOWAVE PROPAGATION IN SATELLITE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, WIRELESS MOBILE AND SATELLITE NETWORKS, TERRESTRIAL AND WIDEBAND PROPAGATION, STUDY ON INTERSYSTEM INTERFERENCES, RF AND MICROWAVE PROPAGATION AND UWB MICROSTRIP ANTENNA DESIGN. CLOUD PHYSICS, MICROGRID AND RENEWABLE ENERGY. HE HAS AUTHORED AND CO-AUTHORED SEVERAL ARTICLES IN REPUTABLE JOURNALS AS INDEX IN SCOPUS AND SEVERAL CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS IN HIS FIELD.
